The Patriarch and I returned to Klode Friday afternoon for another installment of our 'no wetsuit or bust' swims. After yesterday's delightful surprise of a water temp of 71 we pretty much expected a similar experience. .....we should have known better.
The near shore water temp read 67 on the Patriarch's thermometer...but after taking the plunge it didn't take long for us to figure out that 67 might have been a bit generous. Still we pushed on without our wetsuits. When all was said and done our bodies acclimated to cooler water temp (...well, not really...) and we logged two trips from Klode's south beach to south-south beach and back.
