Upcoming events: This Saturday 06/10, Klode Kru Shipwreck Swim at Atwater Beach followed by Shorewood Men's Club BBQ. It is a magic day, not to be missed. (And... I will have to miss it.) Stay tuned for details.
There was a rare Diablo sighting this morning. He was riding off into the sunrise as Panini and I arrived at Klode. He assured us that the water was great, and he was right.
We swam to the birches. It was sunny and beautiful, and the waves seemed to be dying down as we finished our swim.
As an extra bonus, we ran into Gigi walking down the ramp as we left.

Wednesday night water was 66F in some places, 61F in others, and infrequently more refreshing. The sun was so bright I couldn't even see the rocks coming back in. In conclusion, everyone missed out.

If Itch wasn't on vacation he could vouch for it, but he said he got it as high as 67 at one point! It was like swimming through a 3D checkerboard though, the hot and cold water was in these defined little spaces. Fingers crossed for tonight!
