Another lovely swim day and great Kru turnout.  Water temperature was a little colder off shore but not by much.  Water also seemed almost calm near shore, but then developed some mild chop, with a current pushing it.  Definitely one of those days when the swim back was much easier.

Special guest star Fernando is a young friend of Brick's, who was there with his family.  Very nice folks.  Fernando's underage, so Brick offered Fernando's shot of Pitsch to his dad.  Dad was very interested in finding out more about Killepitsch.  He had a bunch of questions, starting with "How much alcohol is in this?".  He took a photo of the bottle.

But before we could serve the Killepitsch, Mr. Bubble had to carry out a rescue operation!  Brick had dropped one of his green, plastic shot glasses in the water  (btw - where are those First Responders when you really need them?😄).  Brick had already changed in to dry clothes, so he called out to Mr. Bubble, who was still wet.  "Can you rescue my shot glass before it sinks or float out to sea?"  I earned a lifeguarding merit badge as a Boy Scout, so I knew you're supposed to keep your sight fixed on the rescuee as you enter the water.  But this rescue operation wasn't like that...I couldn't even see the shot glass.  Had to rely on Brick's blind man's bluff directions ("getting warmer...more to the right...another 4 yards straight ahead").  Finally spotted the shot glass about 2 yards ahead and brought him ashore.  No mouth to mouth or CPR needed.

As a result of the rescue operation, we were able to offer Fernando's dad a shot of Pitsch.  We toasted their family...Viva Mexico!!
