Thursday at 7:15 PM is the last of the Aquathon series in Menomonee Park

Water Temp 51!!! (Yikes, we lost 20 degrees in the last 24 hours!)

The lady showed her cruel side this morning, turning the cold shoulder and then some. It was too cold for two of us to even make the attempt, but everyone else at least gave it a shot (in wetsuits). Never fear, there is still plenty of good swimming left, all we need is a wind shift to warm things up again.
Let's hope that happens before Saturday because Steve has invited the Klode Crew and the Schroeder masters to his house on Beach Drive Saturday from noon to three. The plan is to swim at noon, followed by a post swim pancake brunch. Stayed tuned for more details and do your best warm water chant.

I tried again at 13:30 (that's nautical for 1:30 pm). It was warmer.....maybe up to 52 :)
I need to get a swim in tomorrow so I will probably go to the Y in the morning. I'll give the Lady of the Lake another day to forgive the Fine Wench!
