*****NOTE: 6:15 is the new M-F swim time*****

When I first saw the parking lot at 8:00 AM I thought there were hordes of swimmers.  Instead, those super annoying cross-fit people were clogging the area and making noise again.  Clearly they do not understand that we own Klode and that everyone else just rents.

We made our way down to the beach, and back into the quiet zone.  The water was almost completely flat and... 50 degrees.  Grumbling and disbelief ensued.

There were no skin-swimming badasses today, but Mr. A and Chris went sleeveless.  The rest of us applied our long-sleeves in a leisurely fashion (plus booties/gloves/mittens/etc) and headed north, with a few declarations of, "sewerpipe."

In the end, I think most went further than expected. The sun came out and warmed things up a bit.  This was Jenny's coldest swim ever, so congrats and welcome to the real Lake Michigan to her.

The wind was picking up and causing some chop as we left the beach, so we were all glad that we swam when we did.

Last weekend (?) Laguna Mike and Luna Laguna's daughter seeded the area inside the rockpile with some stones she had painted, and I think I found one yesterday:

I was surprised how far I made it this morning! All the neoprene helps for sure!
