Today was a very special day indeed!  It's not often I get to officially proclaim a new Klode Kru name....traditional style.  This very sacred ritual is typically reserved for and performed by The Patriarch...admittedly cuz he looks and sounds much better than I doin' it...but with the unanimous vote of confidence from the officially named Kru members in attendance following today's voyage I took the liberty to perform the sacred ritual myself.  With a raised shot of Pitsch in hand by all who were in attendance the Proclamation was made....

"Henceforth from this time, let it be known that our fellow Kru mate formerly referred to as 'Mrs. Laguna' and very briefly 'Mystic Lady' (...say whaaa????) will now be known as 'Luna Laguna'.  So it has been proclaimed so shall it be known!"

...In case you're curious...."Luna" is short for Lunar and "Laguna" translates to Lake.  "Lunar Lake".  If you're interested in the story behind the name you'll be needin' to ask Luna Laguna fer the story....it be the CODE after all!

On a different topic....there's talk of doing a "Crystal Palace" swim next weekend.  (Pending the water and weather conditions)  Not familiar with the Crystal Palace?  If you've joined us for the Klode Kru sunrise swims and gazed upon the north shoreline you've likely seen the radiant sun rays reflect on windows of the Crystal Palace.  Situated across the bay at the mid-point between Three Piers and the Point (a.k.a. Beach Drive), the lush green finely manicured estate of the Crystal Palace is hard to miss.  The round trip distance for this excursion is approximately 5k....for those capable of swimming a straight line across the bay that is.  Check back for more details as the weekend draws near.
