As you might expect on a sweltering day, the beach was packed with sunbathers, kids, dogs, boats, jetskis (ugh!), and swimmers. We swam south to avoid all the water traffic, and had a pleasant skin swim to "staircase" and back, a mile or so round trip. The heavy choppy waves moving north made for a challenging swim out and a fast rocky ride back. It was great way to cool off on a hot day. See you in the morning.

Nice work, guys. I happened to be at the beach today when you pushed of and I watched you go and come back. But, I was 55 miles into a 65 mile total bike ride, and my wife and daughter joined me for a swim. If my wife would have remembered my cap & goggles, I may have joined you.
