One flew over the Cuckoo's nest

Last Night's Swim:
Beach: Klode
Water temp: 63
Waves: slow rolling 1-2ft
Water Clarity: Stirred up
Crew: The Patriarch, Gabriel, Gumdrop, Lindsey, Capt'n

This Morning's swim:
Beach: Klode
Water temp: 60
Waves: choppy 1-2ft from the southeast
Water Clarity: Stirred up
Crew: Gabriel, Capt'n

Next swims: 4:30PM today, 4:30 PM Friday

Yes indeed, it's sad but true....The Patriarch has flown over the Cuckoo's nest, literally! By the time he reads this he'll probably be sitting on the beach in Hawaii sipping a tropical drink mixed with Killepitsch.

As strange as it was logging an adventure without The Patriarch this morning, the show must go on here....and that it did this morning. Gabriel and I were greeted by choppy 1-2ft waves moving quickly from south to north this morning. Klode's southeast beach has been over taken with seaweeds that are washing ashore. As a result we set said instead from Klode's south beach. The swim south took us almost to the Silver Spring tunnel (aka sewer pipe). The return trip lasted only about half the duration as the swim out.

The plan is to return again this afternoon at 4:30pm and again Friday at 4:30pm. Any takers?
