Increasing the ante

Beach: Klode
Water temp: 55
Waves: 1-2ft waves
Water Clarity: stirred up near shore, clear offshore
Crew: Gabriel, Capt'n
Next Swim: Saturday 2PM Klode

The water temp inched down ever so slightly for our Friday afternoon swim. 54.6 was the official reading from shore. We did notice, however, that once we swam out of the stirred up near shore water that the clearer water felt considerably warmer. (...any theories as to why?)

Increasing the challenge of this afternoon's swim was an air temp of 51, cloudy skies and damp conditions from the on & off sprinkles that had been popping up all day. The show still went on though. Our swim took us up to what we call cedar grove which is approximately half way between the garage and the rock wall. The rolling 1-2ft waves that were spaced approximately 2-3 seconds apart made for fun experience.

The plan is to log swim day number 96 at 2pm Saturday. The later start time is to accommodate Al's run which doesn't start until 10:30am. If 1pm is more convenient there is a possibility that I can make that time. If interested, please comment or call me.

See you on the beach? :)
