The Thursday swim was a rare PM swim for me, and it was pretty great.  The water is still cold (surprise!) but the warm air was a gift.

Everyone made it to Love Rock, and Itch, Brick,  and Luna went even further.  Speaking of Love Rock, the horrible smell that lurked around the south sewerpipe was ridiculously strong at Love Rock last night.

Back at the beach, though changing still required some speed, it did not feel like a race to avoid death by hypothermia.

Post swim, Synchro pointed out the bats frolicking in the sky, and Brick served more pickled goodness-- carrots this time.  Killepitsch was enjoyed by all.

Which brings us to the exceptional Friday morning swim.  The air continued to be warm and the water flat.

We swam north to the birches, and LunaLaguna went to the rock wall.

The sunrise was spectacular, and the company was superb.  We were all so grateful for the warm air and the epic nature of  mid-November swims.

Not just another ordinary day at the beach, courtesy of Linda the Lamprey.

RIP Tattoo Lady's Barbie.
