How Deep is Your Love, Chapter 2,

Next Swims:

Last Swim
Thursday 9/26 @ 5:30
Water Temp:  48 per itch-o-meter
Waves:  glass
Clarity:  super clear glass, bottom visible up to 25' (per Itch)
Kru:   Itch and Super Hera
Shore Support: Handyman Hank,  Mr. Bubble and Synchro

Such a beautiful evening!  The Sirens call is even more powerful than usual.  It's hard to look at the lake without feeling compelled to immerse yourself in it, but...Yep, the water temp is 48, just like last night.

Got down to the beach at 6 to find Synchro and Hank are in dry street clothes, Itch and Super Hera are just coming out of the water.  Approaching the beach and the disembarking swimmers from a distance, it looks like Super Hera must be wearing some bright red socks  - get closer to see she's not wearing socks.  Super Hera stops to take a selfie with her bright red ruddy complexion, after she's applied even brighter red lipstick.

Synchro and Hank looks sad but resigned.  At one point, Synchro stands on the beach and reaches out her arms to give the lake the biggest hug she can muster.  She loves the lake, but...She vacillates a little...it would be easier than icing my knee, but...

Itch is doing his thing...he's got a system down and he's following it.  Actually wore a long sleeve wetsuit top and wetsuit knickers.  Slightly ruddy complexion, but not as dark as the Killepitsch.

Mr. Bubble is undecided.  He goes in and out a couple of times, but never up to waist deep.  Made an attempt to just rush in Polar Plunge style, but stops short at waist depth.  Super Hera captures it all on camera and posts it to Facebook.

Tonight's toast - Prettiest swim of the season!  Unanimous agreement.

Kru! Where's the info on today, 9/28? I just read the temp is above 65. Surely that's pure deception. And yet the waves say the warmer water has been coming. So. What was the temp at noon. I still have 90 minutes to get a swim in before dark. Is it above 56?

We solos depend on your earlier voyages! We require your blog to keep us from arriving at a great disappointment!

You guys are a pure inspiration. I am coming to you as soon as my knee heals!

THANKS
