The wicked west wind has blown all the warm surface water offshore and wreaked havoc with our swim plans, unless you're Diablo, Itch, or Panini who swam despite the cold water. You guys are unbelievable.
The good news is the offshore winds have abated and there is still plenty of warm surface water out there, hopefully it will blow in for the weekend.
I was too wimpy to swim in the cold water but the beach is still beautiful in the morning, inspiring my inner bard:
