There's an E. Coli warning for Klode Beach... is swimming still on?

indeed....takes more than a yellow placard to discourage us!
four swimmers last night, and another that got a late start and used it to scare the bejeeesus out of me. using the rough conditions to siddle up close enough to make it rather uncomfortable then proceeded to belt out a death screech a foot away in rough conditions. damn near shat myself (which wouldn't of helped with the E. Coli level)
best swim of the season

I think the words you are looking for are "thank you." All part of my effort to ensure you are fully trained for this Saturday's Milwaukee River Race. You have got to be fully prepared at all times on Saturday for someone or something unexpected to reach out and grab you. You're welcome.

Three of the Klode Kru same tonight despite the beach being closed due to e coli. Here's a link (https://www.cdc.gov/ecoli/general/index.html) to primer on e coli infections. Remember that not all e coli are bad - indeed our guts are full of the stuff. But a high enuf exposure to a bad strain can cause severe illness. Oh and it usu takes 3 to 4 days for symptoms to arise. Hey, Lorraine, come on, this is a family oriented blog.

Haha. For those who may not know "sexennial" is Latin for 6th anniversary.

Apologies. I won't be able to make it tonight. Capt'n, I plan to swim both weekend days so hopefully I can pick up my caps one of those days.
