Many thanks to Kahuna for treating this morning's Kru to Coffee, Pastries and Bacon.  As advertised, Kahuna greeted swimmers before they stepped ashore with a perfectly hot cup of coffee  (What service!)

If you've attended the weekend noon swims recently you may have overheard some clamor for a post swim social.  Well, let's make it happen after tomorrow's noon swim.  The weather forecast looks great for rehydrating at the Estabrook Bier Garten following Saturday's noon swim.  No worries if you can't make it this time.  There's also currently a campaign for a follow-up social at the Bavarian Bier Garten in the near future.  Stay tuned for those details!

If you missed this morning swim...here's a snap of this morning's Kru.

Temperature Drop Warning: The Noon Swim on Sunday official temp was 60 degrees, but I was pretty sure I was swimming through some areas that were colder than that. So watch the buoy temp graph, and consider putting that wetsuit back into the bottom of your swim bag. Several of the new members (who amazingly have never swam in the Lake at temps below 70), had something of a rude awaking today. But maybe things will turn back better, as the predominate winds appear to be out of the East mostly over the next week.

Always a silver lining - that temp drop came with spectacular crystal clear water and only the gentlest of swells. Best swim ever!
