Fun Blog Post about a 2.5mi Carribean swim

I have no new Lake Michigan swims to report, but here is a fun blog post about a 2.5mi swim in the Carribean:

I noted at the end of the article: "Thank you to the lovely Island of Nevis and the Nevis Tourism Authority for hosting me on this trip and for supporting me in doing the swim. Your hospitality is second to none!"

Like they say "Nice work if you can get it."

Ditch the pitch, get a new sponsor, and cheer leaders.

I looked into swimming that during last year’s spring break. But then I saw what it would cost to get there. Had a whole week in Seattle for what it would have cost me just to get to Nevis St. Kits. But hell yeah, it looks like a good swim.

How ‘bout this for some summer dreaming? There is a week in August where it looks to be possible to swim in three great lakes:

Aug 4: Point to Lapointe (Lake Superior)

August 5: Coastal Crawl (Lake Huron)

August 11 Swim For Grand Traverse Bay (Lake Michigan)

A swimmer can dream, right?
