Thursday night swim: 71.3°,
KRU: Patriarch, Kahuna, Erin, NSN, Sir James,latecomer Mr. A, and a rather upbeat member of the Shorewood mountain bike team.
SWIM REPORT: The best swim of the season started out with clear flat warm water and soon morphed into a rather rough annoying chilly pain in the arse( just ask sir james, who was past big bay as conditions turned "unpleasant") Why do things turn to $#!t the furthest distance from home? Never fails. Friday pm swim is 5:30. Comment if that's upsetting anyone, seems most places close early on Friday

What Kru members are signed up to do the Cream City Classic this Saturday? Sir James and who else? Currently 48 persons have registered (it will be capped at 190 swimmers), and the weather looks like it is going to cooperate. Fyi, Prof. Joe Brown has volunteered to film a short documentary piece re the race, and would like to interview some of the participants this week before the race (when he can, before any of them mysteriously disappear mid-race, never to be seen again). Maybe we can get together members of the Kru who are racing on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning at Klode (or someplace else), and Prof. Brown can meet us there for interviews.
