Ooohh, that must of hurt when Showgirl had to admit that Kahuna was right.

Can't one of the smart members of the Kru find a website or phone number that would report Atwater or Klode water temperatures, so we can post that on the blog?

Hey Kahuna, This site reports data from buoy 45013 off Atwater. They are only reporting temps at depths starting at 3ft but that's better than nothing. https://seagull.glos.org/data-console/2

I posted in another comment the information UWM Freshwater Sciences gave me. Lorraine you can get temps at lesser depths on seagull. you can also have the atwater buoy alert you when you set up a profile and notifications. maybe an admin can scoop up the information I posted and put it into the blog???

Also, they had an email address for information about deploying a buoy. I sent a question about what would take to get one deployed at WFB

Not saying I cant get used to a new site but does anyone know how to find surface water, and units preferences? Also woulda been nice for a redirect to their own new service from their own old service instead of a 404 but I’m learning to love life via lowered expectations and am a work in progress.

We need to get the water temp links on the home page of the blog updated.

During the week, are people swimminng at 6 or 6:30? We should get that clarified on the blog too.

What think the Kru about a noon on Saturday being a Pride Month Swim? I'll tie my pride flag on the flag pole below the American Flag, and we can hoist that on the beach.

And, yes, if somebody's bought a Juneteenth Flag (apparantly there is an official one), I'm willing to fly that on Monday, if thre is a request for that. Cheers.

I use this, it only goes up to Waukegan but that’s better than nothing

Any evening swimmers? What time?

Looking to start evening swims. The old time of 6pm or even 5:30 would be great. Unfortunately 5pm is going to be really hard to ever make this year.
