We'll provide daily updates on lake conditions, and our plans for upcoming swims. In addition we'll write some observations, ramblings, rants, and wacko theories related to Lake Michigan swimming (or not).
For those very few of us not actually competing in today's Marathon:
Heads up that the race starts at 7:30 at Grafton High School, follows the Lakeshore south and ends Downtown (Summerfest grounds, I believe) with a cut off time of 6.5 hours (2 p.m.).
This could impact traffic/parking on the way to the beach!

Itch, Rosie, Brick, Diablo and I met up at Klode mid-day. Flat water, no wind. Decent vis with skin water temp around 64 degrees. October won’t get much better. Great swim!

looks like weekday swims at big bay and weekends, some folks sneeking into klode since there are no work crews on sat & sun
