For a brief moment today, it was an all-woman swim.

Then Mr. Bubble announced his presence with squeaky disc brakes, and Mr. A was already on the beach.
There were some threatening clouds on the radar and in the sky, but we swam unscathed.
The air was warm and humid until you got a few feet into the water, and then you hit a wall of cold.
The water temp, 55, felt like a giant happy increase from yesterday's 48. Mr. A, badass, swam off in his lava pants. Linda, SUPER-MEGA-ULTRA-badass, swam skin, as she did yesterday, and does every day.
The waves were mostly straight out of the east, so they created some resistance both out and back, and the fog was rolling in throughout the swim.

The Gestalt of the Kru is the perfect antidote to the Zeitgeist of the times we live in.

So, here’s my entry. It’s actually a modified quote from a 1960s celebrity. See if you can guess who - i’m thinking it’s pretty obvious even if you’ve never heard the quote before.
Gestalt is just a word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Zeitgeist is not a fact. It's an opinion.
Friday night 64°, best swim of the season. Lovely clear water followed by less than clear skies! Post swim holed up under the klode cabana while the skies opened up with summer torrents of glorious rain!! Felt like a kid. only a kid with the key to the liquor cabinet!! Toasted the happy and dramatic swim with a well deserved Pitsch! The kind of swim where you can't stop smiling and feel bad leaving the beach! Huzzah!
I promised dragonfly that I would do a blog post about this morning swim, and I will in a little bit. But for those of you needing to know now, to make decisions about swimming at noon; The water was 55° at eight this morning with some pretty big swells .
