July 4th Swim: Big Bay to Atwater? Meet at Noon at Big Bay?
Conditions on Monday, Morning:
Water temp: 53 degrees or so by the toe?
Waves: Flat
Air temp: 60
Clarity: Clear
Crew: Forger, Mr. A, Magic Mike, Diablo (early shift), Kahuna.
Skin/Wetsuit: Diablo and Mr. A skin, everybody else wetsuit.
Nice to get back swimming in the morning. Such a quiet peaceful time at the park/beach at that time of the day. The weather forecast does not look promising for the evening swim, but you just never know.

I just called the Shorewood Village Hall and they confirmed that the gates at Atwater will be locked up at Noon on the 4th, just like last year. So, how about we meet up at Big Bay at 10 am?
Works for me.
Either that, or just belt out out our best viking berseker yell as we invade their western shores!

I thought it worth mentioning on Sunday that we swam with the fishes - large swarms of some kind of fingerlings over the giant rocks near shore, heading south from Klode.
What have conditions been like? Anyone giving it a try tonight?
I'm planning on finally coming tonight!
