This morning we returned to Klode after our law-breaking Big Bay adventure. Upper Klode looked like a hung-over frat boy the night after a big party-- post firework debris was scattered everywhere. Speaking of hung-over frat boys, our beloved Patriarch will be away for a few days, boozing it up and hitting the strip clubs of Door County, and thus I am guest-blogging again.
Away from the post-debauchery of the upper park, the beach was beautiful and quiet, and the water was glassy.
And so we swam and it was lovely. The only fly in the ointment was.......actual flies. Zillions of them on the surface. more like ants with wings. Several of them met their maker trapped inside my swimsuit.
Speaking of lovely, the wonderful Wonder Woman was in the water as I returned from my swim. It was so great to see her, just a short time before she departs for her Panamanian house flipping adventure.

I there going to be an evening swim tonight?
Yes - 5:30 PM! It's on the last blog post - Showgirl accidentally didn't carry it forward.
Not quite the slip up we all admire, but hope springs eternal.
last swim:
7-5-16@ 5:30 PM
Water Temp:69, as the duck quacks
Waves:2 footers with grooving currents and white caps
Clarity: so-so
Crew: Loraine, Jack frost, Ryan, Gumdrop
Skin/Suit: 1/1.5
It was a great evening for a swim. There was just enough sun to still have good light, though on the wane, as shadows were mysteriously cast in between the waves. If one gets the groove and is in sync with the currents, it's like a groovy dancing waterslide, so just slide.
We liked the 5:30 pm swim so much, we decided to plan for another 5:30 pm swim Th (as long as weather is decent)!
Was there a swim this morning, or did everybody else roll over and go back to sleep, after hearing the thunder? Anybody considering a swim on Wednesday evening?
