Difficult Decisions

Life is full of difficult decisions...."which speedo to wear?", "does this swim cap go with my speedo?"....and most difficult of all, "should I wear a wetsuit today or not?"

This morning's decision was tough....The Patriarch's thermometer read 65, right on the borderline for swimming without a wetsuit. The sunny skies and Caribbean like water color tempted us to take the plunge without our wetsuits, but the cooler air temp and cold sand swayed us in the other direction.

Further complicating The Patriarch and I's decision this morning was Gumdrop who had developed a sniffle over night and avoided this morning's debate by declaring immediately that he would be wearing his suit this morning.

We pulled out our wetsuits....and then we put them away....and then we pulled them out again...and then...we put them away and took the plunge without them. A FANTASTIC decision!

The water conditions turned out to be superb. The water clarity was stupendous and the rising sun was more than adequate to keep us comfortable in the water. As has been the case this week, several of our fishy friends greeted us as we made our journey between Klode's south beach and South South beach.

Our plan is to return again at 4:30 to hopefully enjoy a return of the 70 water temps experienced yesterday.
