Water temp: Anywhere from 53 to 60, depending on where you measured it.

Crew: Cap'n, Robin, Patriarch
Next Swim: Bradford Beach 6:30AM Friday
The battle between sun and wind continues. The sun is heating the surface water, the wind is pushing the warm surface water out and pulling up the cold water from below. The result: a jumbled mess. There were steep temperature gradients from one spot to the next, and from the surface to a couple feet below.
Overall not too bad once we got going. We managed a 25 minute wetsuit swim, so our goal of swimming every day in July remains intact. The next few days will be challenging as the strong offshore winds continue. The Racine Tri could be interesting.
Tomorrow we are planning something a bit different, a morning swim from Bradford Beach. Our work buddy Brian said he would meet us there, and if he doesn't he will never hear the end of it.
