I arrived at Klode to see the twinkling of hundreds of shards of glass spread across the parking lot.
Moments later Kahuna and his friend Tom rolled in on bikes, steering clear of the mayhem.
Apparently Kahuna managed to bully his friend Tom into buying one of the perpetually on-sale Xterra wetsuits, and today was his first swim with us. I was super happy to see 55 on the thermometer after swimming in the 40's last week, but that may have been a wee bit chilly for a first swim. Nonetheless, he swam to the garage.
The air was warm-ish, and the water was flat, with the smallest of swells, and after the "real" swim I did a tiny skin swim around the rock pile.
Morning swims are the best.
