What a fantastic week of swimming! Such a lovely progression from the wild winds and waves of last weekend, steadily becoming calmer and clearer, with consistently warm air temps and reasonable water temps. To illustrate...Brick wasn't wearing any neoprene on Friday night...just his swim trunks and bare chested. Like Itch.
Ah, but just as we're getting comfortable with the status quo, things are bound to change. In fact, the forecast Saturday at 4:45 pm CDT is 23.4° and that's not Celsius degrees. For that matter, it's not Fahrenheit or Kelvin either.
So, our first Killepitsch toast was to...first day of summer's eve.
But then Panini reminded us...it's Juneteenth, too. Another sign that the status quo is bound to change.
Switching back to a "safe topic" - the weather - you better hurry cause it may not last
