Rub-a-dub-dub it was like being in a tub today. While the bay for the most part was sheltered from the southeasterly winds they still resulted in a pretty decent chop. Waves were 1-2ft with an occasional white cap but the sizable waves were spaced about 4-5 seconds apart. In between the sizable waves were several smaller ones that begged for attention and challenged you to remain concentrated on your swim stroke.
Our swim this afternoon took us from Klode's southeast beach down to south-south beach, up to the garage and then home. Regardless of the direction we swam it always felt as if the chop was challenging our progress forward. When all was said and done today's adventure lasted a little more than 30 minutes.
T-minus 2 days until our attempt at a November swim! Who's in?
