Beach: Klode
Water temp: 56
Waves: Occasional 1-2ft swells
Current: none
Water Clarity: Stirred Up
Crew: Gabriel, Capt'n
Next Swim: Thursday 4:30PM Klode
Tuesday's big 30-50mph winds were not too kind the Klode beach front....although certainly they've been worse. The southeast beach that just yesterday had a neatly organized pile of rocks and a sandy path into the lake is now a strewn mess of seaweeds and rocks. Gone also are our clear water conditions and......sadly our 60 degree water temps.
While challenging to put your face in at first, though, 56 degree water temps are still swimmable. Our record coldest swim temp of the season is 54 so we're still well above that mark. :)
Wednesday afternoon's swim consisted of a trip up to the garage and then back down towards south-south beach before we decided to call it a day.
The plan is to return at 4:30pm Thursday to attempt swim day number 94.
