Tomorrow is the day...the day we finally get a shot at logging a November swim! Mother Nature and the Lady of the Lake didn't make it easy today. The air temp hovered around 40 and a brisk west wind dropped the windchill to the lower 30's. The water temp also matched our coldest swim temp at 51.9. What a change from yesterday's pleasant temps...
The only reprieve was the calm lake surface which made for an easy entry into the cool water and for an effortless swim. Today's swim toured the Klode beach area with a trip up to the garage and then down towards south-south beach before calling it a day at approximately 25 minutes of fun.
We plan to set sail at high noon on Sunday for our first ever November swim. This will surely be a historic moment for us that will be worthy of a celebration afterwards...perhaps a round of Killepitch and a few high fives? What say you....who's in for this adventure? Patriarch? Brad? :)
