I'm planning to join a group of friends from Team Phoenix. Maybe we could all join the KKK
Y'all know about the Santa Rampage Pre-Ride? A group of about 30 Santa's ride from Fyxation on Humboldt and North out to the Rampage starting point in Tosa. They leave at 7:30 and it takes about half hour to get there, so you get to hang out and meet up with folks for about an hour before the ride starts.
The great thing about the Pre-Ride is that the ride becomes a round trip, since it's so close to Lakefront Brewery. It's great for people who don't live on the east side, because then they don't have to make it back to Tosa to get their car.
I'm a fair weather Santa, I'll be there if it's not snowing or raining or super cold.
but I think we should come up with a different acronym. KKK brings to mind guys in white hoods, not Swimming Santas on bikes.
I'll be riding but the way I usually do - ending on the south end of the ride. And not at 7:30am.
Handyman and NS Nancy will be riding.
Yes I'll be riding too - and yes I regretted that Kontingent Komment, aargh.
So for anyone who would like to join - Santas converge from Wauwatosa and other points (Fixxation etc.) to Lakefront Brewery which is usually at its hopping height around 10 a.m. ish...then by 10:30 or so everyone takes off for other points...a small Swimmers group is targeting Casa De Alberto for lunch around noon - less crowded and krazy than Konejitos....- Mr. Bubble I will look for you!
