Water: 52 clear with one waves a foot or less
Crew: Mr. Anonymous, Showgirl, Wet Taco, Kahuna, Mitch, Iceman, Handyman Hank, Diablo, with shore support from Phoenix
After a delightfull, if chilly swim, we mounted an expedition to the black monolith that mysteriously appeared on the beach. We found neither enlightenment a la 2001 a Space Odyssey, nor a purpose in life a la Kahuna, but it did make a fine vantagepoint from which to enjoy the view.
Even so, Kahuna decreed that this abomination and must go. Much debate ensued as to how to best move it off the beach. Drag it? (Kahuna) Float it? (Iceman) Roll it? (Itch). In the end we decided to leave the task for another day.
