Water: Calm and mostly clear, 54 degrees with warmer and colder spots, a "wall" of extremely cold water just off the rockpiles
Crew: Itch, Kahuna, Molly, Diablo, Mitch, Capt'n, Ziggy, Iceman, Drangonfly, Patriarch
Shore support: Phoenix, Squeezashowgirl
Correction: on yesterday's crew list I omitted Itch and myself, a horrible terrible mistake. If you're not on the list it's like your swim never happened, its like you don't exist
Today's mission was to get that abominable monolith off the beach. After much heming and hawing
and trial and error we decided the best approach was the simplist - brute force - we picked the damn thing up and carried it off the beach.

Unless squeezashowgirl is now just on the beach looking for her lovely shape in the clouds and foam, you forgot to mention showgirl in your crew list this time.
Cap'n said the monolith weighed 600 lbs., but he may have been exaggerating. But it was still a pig, and my back is complaining today about our deciding to resort to brute strength yesterday. But I'm happy it's not on my beach any more
