Sunday the uncountable masses of dead, disgusting fish continued to clog the water.  To my horror, eleven brave swimmers swam thru the fish and headed south.  On their return, there remarks were a mix of "great swim" and "that was disgusting."

I decided I didn't need it that bad.

I also want to go on record that I was not the jokester who put the fish in Patrarch's bag, nor did I try to put one down the back  of his swim trunks.

Loraine and Gumdrop will be swimming Tuesday at 6pm.  They are negotiable on the time, so post to the blog if you want an evening swim at a different time

Today, Monday's swim, was a totally different story. The horrifying masses of fish were gone, tho their stink remains.  Or should I say, their remains stink.  A lot.

The water was mostly calm, with a slight chop out of the south.  It was marvelous.

Congrats to Handyman Hank on finishing Grandma's Marathon in Duluth.  Today he modeled his cute new wetsuit shorts for us.

Fish smoothie; one part fish, 4 part seaweed, water, and some minerals.

Anyone up for a near full moon swim tonight at 99.8% at 8:30?

this is the first full moon to fall on the June solstice since the year 1967, which some recall as the year of the Summer of Love, a social phenomenon centered on San Francisco, London and other places around the globe. There’ve been a number of near misses of full moons on June solstices, however.

It appears as if the full moon and June solstice won’t fall on the same calendar date again until June 21, 2062.
