With the exception of last year (...due to the warm spring/summer...), water conditions like the present are typically very rare. While I haven't checked back to our blog posts prior to 2012 I would guess you can probably count on one hand the number of days where we have recorded a water temp on the plus side of 75.
Further adding to our delight are the calm & clear water conditions we've enjoyed during the past few days. Indeed...the water conditions are spectacular at the moment! ...come out and enjoy it while it lasts. :)

HI I am new to the area and Erin at Triwisconsin gave me you website. I am a beginner openwater swimmer and would like to improve my skills. It looks like you swim almost everyday. Can I come join you? Can only more experienced people come? Let me know

Waves: about 1 foot swells with a diggidy playful current

The Lady was doing some rollin (and churning) around today, she's getting just a tad playful :-) Crew was; Fine Wench,Jason,Jeff, and myself.
