As we moved along the frozen shore there was a bright warm yellow sun shining down on and illuminating, sparkling ice and snow with sparkingly illuminated blue water with scattered floating bumping ice bergs, beautifully beheld by all. While scouting for a good launch site, it felt like walking on an otherworldly frozen world with mysterious ice sculptures left behind by an unknowable benefactor- but why? But so beautiful. Diablo and Itch played ring around the ice berg through icey snap crackle and swishy sway waves. You can cool off real fast if you hang out on an ice berg for a little while, but be sure not to lick it, cause I forgot my ice pick, otherwise guess ill see you in the spring.
For the benefit of the krew there will be a show at noon on
ice bergs. Diablo, Itch, Moondaug will all be there and the Lady of the lake,
the frozen queen-what a scene. Over frozen stones, surrounding sounding water,
and icebergs. Lastly, seal diving under and trough and onto sparkling sun
glazed ice bergs. In this way the krew will conquer their day and challenge the
world!

Nice one, Moondaug. I hope you all enjoyed your swim!
When are you guys going out again??
Hi - I regularly dip in frozen lakes in Minneapolis, MN. I will be in Milwaukee the first weekend in March and would love to join you. Where and when do you meet?
Hi Missy, We swim out of Klode beach, usually at noon, but the winter months are usually less peopled, so you may want to check/post the blog beforehand, but usually someone is swimming, unless it’s completely froze over and the ice breakers are down. The exact location is posted on a link on the main page under-'Where the klode Kru swims'. Cheers!
