Water Clarity: Excellent
Crew: Padre, Showgirl, Brain, Patriarch, Diablo, Kahuna (and his wonder dog Boden)
For the first time this season large schools of small fish and a few big ones have returned to Whitefish Bay. Also, for the first time this season, Padre returned to Whitefish Bay. Coincidence? I think not. I'm not sure how these two facts are related, but I'm sure they are somehow. If anyone can explain this mystery, please leave a comment.
I am predicting (irrationally hoping is probably a better way to put it) that hot sun beating down on the lake all day will heat up the surface water, so I'll be back at the beach at 6PM to swim skin or bust. If nothing else it will be a great way to beat the heat.

How can i start swimming with y'all? I'm up here from chicago for work most week days and need a swimming crew..training for a 1/2 ironman relay at the end of aug and i'm so out of shape! do i keep checking this blog? Show up by 6am or 6pm at Klode Park in Whitefish Bay. Find a tired lookin' group of people with swim caps and goggles, introduce yourself and start swimming. All levels of swim ability are welcome.

Any lady who uses the word "y'all" is more than welcome to swim with us. You unfortunately missed last week's country ham and peaches post-swim treat (I'm not making that up.)
My only edit to Jeff's comment above: "At Klode Park at the time designated in the blog, look for the athletic, energetic, ripped and good-looking athletes standing next to the parking lot, then look to the right, and you'll probably see us." Hope to see ya there.
